We hear this statement a great deal from our Open House visitors. Although it may be euphemism for something else, it does definitely reflect an unwillingness to take advantage of professional help. The people hosting an Open House should be ready, willing and, yes, able to provide professional help for buyers shopping for a home. Real Estate agents are there to help you acheive your goal of finding the right home at the right price for you. They should have no other motivation. There should be a no obligation exploration offered to you in an open house to see if that agent can provide you with the service you need - and that service is defintely needed to get you what you need, want, and are capable of purchasing. There is no more advantageous way than to use the services of a trained professional real estate agent.
